Decade's End

As we finish out the "noughts" and a decade ends, my newsletters also come to an end. It's been a labor of love, but as all good things do, that labor must end as another takes its place. Club J will continue on, and I will be blogging at the Online Sewing website. Let's raise our glasses high and toast the new year. May your best be yet to come! As you wait for the ball to drop in Times Square, pass the time with the last issues of 11Heaven and DigiTips. Thanks so much to all of you. Out with the Turkey, In with the Tree

Cold weather is descending on those of us up here in the northern hemisphere, while things are heating up in the southern. We're all preparing for a visit from the fat man in the red suit. When you get weary of searching for deals on Cyber Monday, have a look at 11Heaven. It may give you an idea for a gift. Meanwhile in DigiTips I search for the Holy Grail of "one-click" redwork. It was a rough ride, and I wish I'd had Indiana Jones to help, but I won't give away the ending. You'll have to read it yourself!

I Got a Rock!

So here it is Halloween once again, and I've finally managed to crank out the newsletters. BuzzWord has been flying off the shelves, so I thought it would be a good time to dig in deeper and look at how it can be used to add fonts that you've purchased or already own. Get the latest word in this issue of 11Heaven. One of our customers called with frustration over trying to do raw edge applique, and it occurred to me that our Digitizer software would be a great way to do it. The simple and fun technique is explained in the latest DigiTips. Enjoy them while handing out goodies to the local goblins. If one of them seems a little too tall and is disguised as an old man, please don't give me, I mean him, a rock this time!
